Getting Started At People’s Wellness
Our Process Simplified
Initial Inquiry
Patients/ Family Members of Patients can inquire via the treatment center's website, by phone (1-6232486933), or by physically visiting the center during our office hours. We are very responsive and will make it our priority to answer any relative questions or concerns about the treatment and services we provide at People’s Wellness. Our dedicated team will do our best to respond as soon as possible to your initial inquiry. We also provide a method to verify your insurance coverage for treatments and services you wish to have provided to you at our facility.
Pre-screening
During pre-screening, patients or their loved ones can discuss their situation, health issues, and treatment needs with an admission specialist. We also provide documentation and verifications for insurance. We allow our patients to schedule pre-screening meetings directly via our website. This can be conducted remotely or in-person depending on the individual needs.
Assessment
The assessment will be conducted by a healthcare professional specializing in treating the condition(s) the patient is dealing with. This can be done via a secure online video conference or in person at the center. The assessment will cover medical history, psychiatric history, substance use history (if applicable), and other relevant factors. Based on the assessment, a treatment plan will be developed to address the patient's specific needs. The treatment plan will include details about the type of therapy to be provided, the frequency and duration of sessions, medication (if applicable), and any necessary follow-up care or support. Once the treatment plan is agreed upon, the patient is officially enrolled in the program. This involves completing all necessary paperwork, setting up a schedule for sessions, and establishing how progress will be tracked and reviewed.
Treatment
Treatment begins according to the schedule and plan established in the enrollment process. Patients may engage in various therapies, depending on their individualized treatment plan. Whether in-person or online, we aim to familiarize the patient with the program rules and expectations, staff members, as well as any technology they will need to use for online sessions. It's also a chance to ask any questions they might have about the treatment process.
Regular Progress Reviews
Throughout the treatment, the clinical team will regularly review the patient's progress and adjust the treatment plan as necessary. The frequency of these reviews will depend on the specifics of the treatment plan, but they will be a regular part of the process.
Post-Treatment Planning
As the patient approaches the end of the treatment program, the team will work with the patient to develop a post-treatment plan. This can include ongoing outpatient sessions, support groups, or other resources to help maintain the progress made during treatment.
